Below are Blackjack Basic Strategy charts that use both Las Vegas and Atlantic City rules. It is important to note that, although, these Blackjack Basic Strategy charts will help increase your odds of winning, they are not a guarantee that you WILL win. The only way to put the odds of winning in your favour and make money in the long run is to count cards. Basic Strategy chart are created and validated in two ways:

1. By applying probability theory which uses extremely complicated mathematics.
2. By using computers to simulate thousands of blackjack deals that are played using different strategies. This shows which combination of moves give the best end results (the moves that cause one to lose money the slowest).
